Flash Animation unit completed

It's taken me a while, but the Y9 Flash Animation unit is now complete. The course includes 6 lessons and is designed to provide students (or staff) with sufficient knowledge and skills to create nifty animations and even a drag and drop game. Click here to have a look at the course.

GCSE Computing Resources

With the forthcoming OCR GCSE in Computing I have started to create and post resources up. Some kind souls are also sharing content for me to post here for others' uses as well.

Unlike the KS3 courses, this is going to be more a case of putting the files up for people to grab and pick and choose rather than providing a detailed Scheme of Work. It will also remain a continual work in progress, I am sure.

New course - Digital Storytelling

A 5-week course ideally suited to Y7 students, this course would equally suit an ICT, English or MFL setting. It makes use of audio editing software such as Audacity or Garageband and an online tool such as the excellent Storybird. Students are tasked with writing a short story for 4-6 year olds and then turning it into an audiobook.

Course complete - Y9 Programming w/ Alice

A complete 6-week course ideally suited to Y9 students, this course should be a gentle introduction to 3D graphical programming (OOP for those that appreciate the difference) and a logical next-step from Scratch.
